ESA QuotaManager is a serverless application that is installed on a VM card and runs within the MFP’s ESA platform and does not require any external components to operate—except for an Internet browser which is required to manage copy and print quotas.

ESA QuotaManager has two components:

• Usage-tracking application that runs on the MFP and is responsible for controlling access to user features— copy, print, scan and document. server. It also restricts access to copy and print usage and disables access to the features when user quotas have been exceeded.
• Utility allows administrators to remotely configure and manage user copy and print quotas from their browser.

• Can set a maximum limit for: Copies in black-and-white or colour or Prints in black-and-white or colour.
